After a long gap Dr.Rajesekhar is back to the silver screen with "Mahankali" movie. The special feature for the film is direction. Yes this movie is directed by Jeevitha W/O Dr.Rajasekhar. And one more special attraction is Super star Krishna has given over his voice for a song.
This movie story revolves around a cop. In fact it is a powerful cop story. In this Rajasekhar is seen as Power full and aggressive Police officer.
In his interview he said that this movie will be a land mark in his career as “Ankusam” and he is very confident about the film and the story line. And mainly he said the way Jeevitha has directed is really extraordinary and this will surely be a big success.

Story:
Hyderabad city is reeling under bomb blast, real estates and mafia. So in order to keep the city under law and order Mahankali (Rajasekhar) takes the charge as an encounter specialist for the city. He starts his job and does his work of maintaining law and order in the city in this process he marries a dancer Taneesha (Madhurima). He keeps the city safely from the enemies in and around the city. In this process he takes charge over many criminals and put them behind the bars but due to political back ground and support they come out with in seconds and this forms the clashes between Mahankali and Dubai based Mafia don Harshad (Mukesh Rawat) and they make him to get into corruption case and put Mahankali behind the bars. Hoe he comes out and teaches lesson to the villains forms the rest of the story.

Analysis:
Jeevitha failed in direction department. Mahankali movie has nothing new elements. Though picture doesn’t have new things to show off at least it has to be pictured in effective way with romance, comedy and powerful dialogues so that it can get into the audience.

But nothing of this sort of care has been taken by the Jeevitha Rajasekhar. This movie turns in a  very slow pace and lack of entertainment. Each and every accept is predictable and certain elements lacks reality.
This is no way greater or even equal to “Ankusam” movie. The only plus points from the movie are Rajasekhar performance.

First half is ok not too exciting event he introduction of Rajasekhar is also not that much high.
Interval bang is good. And the twist in the interval bang is satisfactory.
But that excitement lacks in seeing second half. It’s slow running and mainly police officer shooting criminals who comes in his way is not practically possible and even doesn’t carry well.
