Karthik "Bad boy" is a mass and action entertainer. This movie is dubbed version Tamil flick “Alex Pandian” and it is also known that while dubbing the film almost 20 mins of the film has been chopped off for the conversion. Anushka is the female lead in the film and the music while is out few days back has got the good response from the music lovers.
Story:
The story opens like Divya (Anushka) is chased by gang of people and in order to escape from them she boards into a train and then when the train passes by a river bridge Alex Pandian (Karthi) he rescues her and takes to a safe place and keeps her there. But it is later revealed that she was actually not rescued but kidnapped by Alex as she was a chief minsters daughter. The motto behind her kidnap forms the story.
Analysis:
The story picked by Suraj is full and full mass and action entertainer. But he failed to show it with full power. The movie lags script work and even the story carrying is not fully justified. Karthi really lacks energy in certain action sequences and Anushka tried to deliver her best but she got that opportunity much in second half alone.
Even the dialogues were more concentrated on the punch dialogues alone.
In the first half there is bit comedy track between santhanam and Karthi is really good and the even the story went in some pace in the first half.
The forest scenes in the second half are really worth less comedy indeed its painful. Even the music scores are not up to the mark. DSP has not given his best.
